With many older houses in the area having field stone foundations, basement waterproofing is a necessity to preserve your house by making the basement area more comfortable and dry for storage. Also, this can add a decorative bright finish to your basement. We begin by brushing and cleaning the surface, followed by patching any deep or loose material with a reinforced mortar mix. Then we use a Portland cement-based coating used to waterproof, protect, and decorate new and old concrete and masonry. It is brushed on vertically and is available in gray or white. We mix this material with an acrylic latex additive that adds strength and improves the bond of the surface.
